"I hope you take this post the way it’s intended. I feel for your sorrow; no doubt, you must
have great sorrow to be swimming in such bleak & dire information/disinformation."
DON'T WORRY YOU HEAD 'BOUT IT Bro!!!
As you might imagine, I hear that a lot! (from the people nearest me, it's a historic
problem)
And! once upon a time this knowledge did weigh me down. But fear not my dear sir, as it does
no longer. Despite what is obviously a major portion of my thought life, I think most of you
would startled by my daily demeanor. In fact, I'm certain of it.
he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow, is oh so true. But my friend, there's
something incredibly true too about the truth setting one free. Without becoming
desensitized. Believe it!
Sorrow is better than laughter: for by the sadness of the countenance the heart is made
better.(now look what you learned me, seriously:)
The only recourse, is collective individual action, the old forgotten American prerogative.
Meaning that individuals have to say ENOUGH, they have to immovably decide, my grand
children's future is valuable, and then take a stand. Problem is, the managers are instituting
these changes so slowly and subtly, it's easier to say people like me are just _____________(fill
in the blank) and get away with it because the truth is most of us just want to live and let live;
and that's pretty commendable in my mind. It's also how Vermonters lost their state to
flatlanders. And truth be told, if it weren't for the internet, I would prolly only have suspicions,
rather than so many factoids to spread around.
I have heard it said that it only takes two or three people to start 'a wave'. Y'know at a
sporting
event. America, and really, the world, needs a 'freedom of conscience/human liberty wave'. I
don't know where it's going to start, but it better happen soon. (did you hear that last week
Congress was discussing the need to provide ones thumb print in order to log on to the
internet?)
Don't worry about it Bear, you wouldn't be the first to suggest I should learn to think
right.
Seriously! LOL. I could tell you stories that would prolly chill your gentle soul, of how the
system has been trying to modify me since I was a little child(it's rather remarkable in
retrospect). So don't worry about my taking your kind thoughts as negative, CAUSE I DIDN'T.
Ya got that? I didn't ... (o: You see, I don't have any choice but to see these things, and try to
forestall the inevitable by passing around this decidedly unpopular viewpoint.
[That's why I caution parents, and try to distract children who begin to make impassioned
vows. Mine was to know the truth, along with a couple other virtually inviolable imprints(which
had other less interesting consequences).]
I fully expect to be taken away one day, as an enemy combatant or some such pure
nonsense.
I'm presently arguing elsewhere with an influential fella who is suggesting I am calling for
revolt because
I wish to save the Bill of Rights. I can't wait to see his response, as I turned it around on him(or
so I hope to be true).
Everybody points to 1984 or Brave New World, and both those guys should certainly have
an
inside track of where the world was heading(as with Wells), but Fahrenheit 451 did it for me. If
you haven't seen the film, do. Then go to a college campus and see if you notice anything
familiar. And, Sontag's wife' family. And of course, how many folks under 30 have any use for
books. If only there were old train yards to escape to unmolested. I might have already left.
Where there is no vision, the people perish;
Say what you will Bear, this is a discussion, I'm always open to rebuttal or better insights. My
primary goal is to provide useful and/or thought provoking information. \ And of course,
debate is not only welcome but desirable.
And although I try to only post information that is verifiable, I understand what you're
saying
about what's believable. Some stuff is undoubtedly elaborate psy-ops but that's something
else most folks cannot fathom, mass psychology in-practice. Which of course, is everywhere.
Think marketing fer starters folks.
Anywho, you get better, snuggle the bride, continue to enjoy your boys and live each day like
ya might, if you knew it was indeed your last. Life is short, and I ain't gettin any younger
neither!
peaceably
(:
