Just this, then I’ll quit asking questions that go unrealized on the dbis anyway. If our process of the vote has been effectively formed into a sham, a pay to play ripoff, disease, effectively disregarding those who may actually govern well, while raising-up those who have simply furthered their individual [industry] careers well-to-do & with a ruthless detachment from the fiery hoards that are falling by the millions at their feet, then why is it you, me, your neighbors & friends, the international community, are still interested? When they found out that there was a poisonous Chinese additive in the cat food, did we continue to buy it and feed it to our cats? NO. A boycott was established/the shelves were emptied, notification doled-out to the communities and the cat food industry is doing some cleanup. As long as we remain “in the race”, …status quo!! Why? If you have a few million…& the books are in the black, investments showing some yield, why give a rates ace that the rest are falling through the cracks, right? Turmoil is on the other side of the tracks………………………………………….until it’s not.
One other thing, because I’ve seen something there wholehearted and hinting at a backbone for a pretty long time now ~~ yet even a big ol fully geared Swan moored at the slip…will take a monster beating when the storms come, …or just float in the shallows and fade in the sun & salt air if not at least run all up and down the waterway every now and then to blow out the sails. If Al Gore is the man, as some of us have harbored the thought for some time now, why is he just sitting on his hands, so to speak? Biding time as a prudent & proper middle-aged sophisticate? Counting the residuals and traveling from one warm front to the next? Why? Why isn’t he gathering up a posse, Earth & Honor in the balance, the Constitution in hand, the learnedness of those far too many years off to the side of something, some of the essence minded Congresspersons and hopefully a Senator not already in bed (if that’s even possible), …riding it like a wave right up onto that hallowed hill, & opening up a can of whoop-ass right directly there in front of the jaundiced eyes of we, the people…in far-out and poignant Hollywood style? Why? Because democracy is a business (Yeah! Happenin S. HRC et al. have willed the folk & their sucker-born-everyday-slush to buy Barlum & Bainey's, Newton’s Law Breaking, Highfalutin Circus of the Norwood Stars over & over again) & one follows the chain of command; slips between the sheets or slips between the cracks? Follows the chain-of-command RIGHT on up to the glass ceiling and then sits the fuck down on one’s hands and awaits an appointment onto the rug wherein one hopes to tip 2 oz. of Makers Mark with the big tomato & all ‘is guns…and then negotiate a meaningful, suitably compromised, arrangement that leaves the lower 98% reeling in their depends and a silent cry for our country…& our individual palpability, one to another & to ourselves; hanging on to our moot slivers of pie crumbs with strained & blood-gone fingertips????
