US Navy submarines, from about 1965 to at least 1986, would regularly port in Japanese harbors with Subrocs in their arsenal. The Subroc is a nuclear weapon used to vaporize all the water under a docked enemy fleet. Having known some people that were at Pearl Harbor at the time of the attacks, I found the whole thing pretty darned funny.
