Dan, as you well know,Maryland is indeed an interesting and beautiful state. It seems to contain every possible element of the American tapestry, and has both a prototypically Northern and Southern disposition at the same time, with some Hillbilly thrown in ever' once in awhal, to keep visitors on their toes.  You can be in the Washington burbs one minute, sipping capuccino at the Mall, or drinking a 40 ouncer and smoking chronic in Bawmer when you're not munching on a most delicious Crabcake sandwich,  and a stone's throw away, be back in Mayberry fondling Ellie Mae...with or without your full set of teeth in place.  This was at a guy's house in the Myersville area, about 15 miles due West of Fredneck;  a very beautiful area, just over the ridge of Braddock Mountain.  He owns one of the few model Train stores in the nation, and the only one I know of located in Hagerstown.  He had a huge outdoor model train track, with big Lionel type cars on it....we set up the music in the garage.  He could play Pedal Steel and guitar; very fine picker, in fact.

Now as for the FAT BOY.....I didn't quite get the chance to "break bread" with him, so to speak.  Never found out where he was from....but I did detect a more distinked Southern accent on his breath.
