I know Sting can be a pompous git, but back in our newly democratic post '94 election South Africa, he was the first big international name to play here. I saw him twice, with the Vinnie Colaiuta, Dominic Miller, David Sancious line up. He specifically asked that the ticket prices be very affordable. On the basis of him having played in SA twice (A return trip in 2000) I am praying he will bring the Police reunion tour here. Frankly, I don't give a shit how much the ticket prices will be, because I know I will get my money's worth of good entertainment. Kyle, you have confirmed that for me, and I must add that there are only a handful of muso's out there who have not been here yet whom I would pay good money to see now...
