Funny in a village idiot if you're inclined to make fun of people with those kinds of challenges. Not funny anymore in a President.

When Reagan was President we all made fun if his gaffes, his histrionic hyperbole, his "amiable dunceness"; he never seemed this dangerous and it never seemed that the country could slide this far.

This President has left us worn out and cynical- there's nothing even remotely funny about his Administration anymore. Just a gripping of the armchairs, a gritting of the teeth, and a hope that we will soon be out of our national misery.
