With art, the sky’s the limit, Reg. There certainly is a shortage of good ‘sailing adventure’ flicks out there. & it sounds like Miami has shown a warm response, the potential of a sturdy boat or two…&, no doubt, a gigantic sun on the horizon to sail ‘er by. Now all we need is baseball-sized cajones, a whole lot of spare time, & obsession unwavering and, by all means, void of all common sense and logic…heh Oh, & a 35 mm camera and about 4,ooo dollars worth of film stock, at least, …or a Digital 24p. Yikes! I’m looking at one sample independent film budget from 2003 and they brought it in @ 214,220.oo all told. If we didn’t have to rent the sailboat…& the skipper had a role in the film, …there’d be some savings there……..
