we got most of the planting done yesterday; i.e., landscaping & veggie garden.  Got up early this morning expecting to look out at the great green perfection that usually follows a fresh planting and mowing…& found (What?) FROST instead.  An ashen under scant sun carpet of frost on the ground…in mid-May.  Nuts.  Good thing we got all the seedlings out of pots & into the ground. Got back to the house just now & it looks like everything’s still living.  Good enough.  …Strange.  Anybody else get frost this morning?
