G. I was primarily airing agitation regarding Traveler replacing October Road. I really couldn’t give a rat’s azz about TV particularly. We checked-out October Road only because it was plugged on the dbis (for the music baby) & it turned-out to be one of the best paced and most effecting one hour dramas I’ve seen in a long time. …I just dug it, man, the reminiscent soundtrack, orchestrations cued-in at the perfect times ~~ I don’t know, between 10 & 11…cold Killians or a bottle of Pinot or Chambourcin kicking in nicely, it was almost as good as a movie. So creatures of habit, we suffered through the new show (not the same as the old show) & I say fire the beancounter pricks and bring back the October Road crew. I really hate when something becomes worth-the-time only to be swept under…or put on the back burner ~~ bullshit mediocrity satisfying whom? Like when the best l’il restaurant (food & friendliness, key) can’t keep its doors open because the holy-hell-top-pop-&-bubblegum-fad-death-to-hipster joint on the corner, with cheaper supplier connections, is shoveling low-grade shit with an attitude. Well,
at least we have three episodes on tape, if we want to affix that sorta mood…it’s only one VHS tape & one bottle o red away.
Factually, I had no clue the show would be so appealing, …but it was. Is. Go figure.
[insert apt cliché] There’s no accounting for taste.

by the way, you’re right about the garden, flora & fauna: Tis the season. We mulched & put in some whiskey barrels for decorative flowers and will be planting white radishes, tomatoes, peppers, leeks, zucchini, basil, sage, parsley & cilantro sprouts in a smallish southern facing raised garden bed tomorrow morning.
