Well, I'd say Nixon was their last credible elected candidate. Let's face it the guy was light years ahead of Ford, Reagan, Bush 1 or 2. Nixon got a little too sneaky but shit I'd vote for him over any of the current crop...even after Watergate because, hell, Nixon was at least sorry for what he did. Plus Nixon once called Dubya's daddy a lightweight worthless sort of guy...that's cool...I should find the exact quote.

Hey, I wouldn't doubt that MJG is correct. The next president gets to take over the disaster Bushco is leaving, how'd you like to be the guy that inherits that mess. If it's a Democrat the Republicans will be blaming him (or her but I doubt that) for every shitty thing that ever occured going all the way back to nailing Christ to a cross.
