Icon Think it will come down to ABH.....

Since 2004 was supposedly about Kerry's superior electability over that of anyone else, when the dust settles and more polls are completed, if they continue to point out that forty or more percent of voters absolutely will not vote for HRC, then that is when I think the ABH (Anyone But Hillary)mode will kick in.

Also, I think many establishment Dems will then start the obvious "Is America Ready For a Black President" conversations and will then start to see how attractive he is for a VP out of fear of his losing the big one. Then, that is when I think it will really get interesting and two things will start to happen: Gore will make it known what he will do (I have no idea) and Edwards will start to advance to become the anti-Hillary and solution to the establishment Dems worry about Obama.

Don't get me wrong: I think an Obama presidency run is great for America and that he would/will be fine president. Though one thing I'm very interested is seeing is how much this is going to reveal about America's race issues. It is either going to reveal a lot of deeply held nastiness or hopefully prove we have advanced.
