…came downstairs last Sunday morning after enjoying TRIAGE tracks 8-9-& 10 on repeat loop in probably one of the top 5 ways it can be enjoyed. …Then in afterglow feeling it strongly enough to want to scribble a consequential feeling down on the dbis, only to have transcribed the lyric (that rang-true in the heat o those moments & then kept ringing-true in the back of my mind over coffee) incorrectly. Certainly no disrespect intended to the author…&, realizing it now, I feel pretty stupid and pissed that it takes something away from the sentiment intended. A sentiment that in all probability didn’t even ring-true on the dbis (that’s the real rub ^ sometimes a tree has to fall…even if there’s nobody there to hear it), but one which meant something to me, enough that I wish I’d gotten it right the first time.
anyway, I transcribed it this way:
…
& it came in clear
…as a local call…,
Why I was born
Well I was born to love you,
I was born to love you
I was born to love….
& the last line should read:
I was born for love
Or to be exact:
i was born for love
(not a big deal…, …but really it is a big deal…
...ahh…well...nevermind)
