Seems the e-mails sent from this server (95% of Kousin Karl's communications were done on it by one report) can't be claimed under Executive Privilege because the White House secure server is set up for this specific purpose and appears was hardly used.
Meaning information or e-mails sent outside of the White House server are considered public info because they were not sent via the secure network and therefore can be accessed or in this case subpoenaed. Bush can't claim this as "privileged info" because due to the fact it was sent outside of their secure server anyone could have seen it. Now it looks like we will.
That'll be a document dump well worth reading.
Looks like there will be some AOL e-mails accessed as well.
It seems most of the White House staff knew not to use the secure server because those e-mails would be preserved as part of the presidential record.
Hhmmm...I wonder who could have directed staff not to use their secure White House e-mail?
