Headline reads GOP Support for Attorney General Erodes. This is akin to saying Democrat support for something eroding and quoting Zell Miller.

The Republicans don't support Gonzales. There may be a few left that do but most of them want him gone. That's just the facts. Do you support Gonzales at this point?

Can you define what you think a "conservative" is? I don't think you and I see it as the same thing.

I've read Specter has had issues with Gonzales for a while so it's not a surprise he's open about being against him.

What's your take on Randy "Duke" Cunningham? You find anything interesting or odd about that story? Again I ask, in all honesty, what can I present that you would accept as evidence?

The fact that Scooter Libby was covicted of a non crime does not impress me.

Pat, you can't be convicted of a "non-crime" that's an off the wall statement. Courts don't charge you with a "non-crime."

He was convicted on 4 of 5 counts of perjury and obstruction of justice. Why is that a "non-crime" for Libby but when Clinton was found guilty of it, it was a crime and you wanted to see him impeached? 

What are you talking about? That's all they got Clinton on...perjury...he lied about his blow job under oath. Libby lied under oath to obstruct an ongoing investigation into the outing of a covert CIA Weapons of Mass Destruction expert. At least Dale is consistant on this, he understands Libby and Clinton committed and were prosecuted for the same crime and is fine with that. You are repeating the talk show nonsense about there being "no crime" in the Libby case. They are blowing smoke up your ass, Pat. I'm sorry but again those are the facts. If Libby committed no crime in your eyes then neither did Bill Clinton and they wasted a shitload of your tax dollars just to get Bill to lie under oath about his blow job.  

Let's see someone outed a supposedly convert CIA operative and a lie was told about it. In the bottom line how does it effect me?

What is the effect? Well, an entire covert WMD operation was destroyed. Plame's job was destroyed and she'll never work in a covert position again. Plame's network was destroyed. All of this has an effect on national security and the safety of the people of this nation and maybe others as well. They can never tell us how much damage was caused by outing Plame, that information is classified and would put the country at risk so...the thing is...you would likely not know the effect until it's too late.

What was the result? Nothing.

You won't know the result until it's too late...that's the point. It has nothing to do with partisan politics, it's simple common sense. I hope nothing ever happens because of it but we'll never know, the information is classified.
