Well, I suppose this flick is not for everyone but I did like it. I tend to like slow movies and I'm a huge fan of Andrei Tarkovsky ( a Russian filmmaker and the equal to Kubrick or maybe even better ) so you really don't know
s l o w
until you've seen one of his films. I know the way the film shifts around in time will probably bother some people too...but damn I thought the characters were great and I really loved the message of the film. I loved the ending too. It's why they make chocolate and vanilla. Just so nobody thinks I'm a movie snob, I loved "The Longest Yard" too, the old one...never saw the new one and won't either...and I've seen "The Blues Brothers" a hundred times...love that film.
