I've got MP3's of Pacific Ocean Blue and Bamboo, plus a ton of unreleased Brian Wilson stuff. The sound quality of the Brian stuff is dodgy at best, but IIRC the POB rips are fine. It ranks up there with Keith Moon's solo stuff as one of those projects that almost, but not quite, touched on the potential of a band member not known well for stepping out on their own.
Nothing to be ashamed of, the Beach Boys. Their stuff from 1965 through 1967 was amazing, and hit/miss through about 1973. After that....well....it's hard to have decent material when Mike Love is the primary shaper of the sound.
I continue to think that Brian Wilson is one of the greatest musical minds that ever fell apart. Altho Phil Spector comes close, and he's on the verge of losing everything. That trial should be pretty good TV.
