. and I saw the Beatles in Seattle. They played for maybe forty-five minutes. The sound system was awful and you could hardly hear them for the screams. The flash bulbs created a strobe effect; probably my first psychedelic experience. We had to sit through the Ronettes, Bobby Hebb and his hit "Sunny" and the Cyrkle and their hit "Red Rubber Ball" to finally hear the Beatles. They were all pretty great acts in hindsight, but hey..
