There seems to be an abundance of great bands/artists coming through Van.in the near future. Van Morrison,Eric Clapton,The Police and Roger Waters for big time stadium gigs. Wolfmother, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Joe Ely & Lyle Lovett, to name a few playing smaller (and better venues) Who do you spend the $$$ on??? I am going to The Shins next week so that decision is made. I've seen Van once and it was incredible. Clapton I've seen 3 times with varying satisfaction, though the last time 5 yrs. ago was the best. Ticket prices for The Police are obscene.$59.50 to $425.00 maybe Stu and Andy need to pad up the retirement fund, I'm sure Sting is quite comfortable.Maybe Wolfmother for some numbingly loud power chord rock??!! Hmmm....whatdya do??
