good vibes, db. while we were watching al gore & queen latifah do their shtick, my bride & i were sharing a thought that it’d be a kind of sweet irony…if neil young/living with war (with all that it means) won best rock album & al gore handed him the gramophone. could have been a semi-magical little [FWIW] moment in time.
…this isn’t to say that the RHCP didn’t put together a worthy piece of work, it’s jus that mr. young’s album was/is a definitive sign of the times, in an age of platitude and moot.
