I liked it, didn't love it. There were parts of the film I thought were very interesting. Very heavy on the symbolism...the sequence with the creature that had to place its eyes in its hands was outstanding I thought. I felt a lot was said there without a single line of dialogue. Beautiful images in the film too. I would certainly recommend it! My wife was familiar with the filmmaker and had seen his other film El Espinazo del Diablo. I think Ed brought that one up too.
