It's all in the eyes. If you've ever been around the homeless, lost, abused, or helpless there is something that is common and beautiful about their eyes. I once said to someone without really thinking about it that I felt like it had something to do with the idea that the eyes are the window to the soul and their soul was all they had left so it just shines out at you...it's in all those photos.
