I forgot that I wanted to mention the film that surprised me the most this year, and I should have known better going in.Happy Feet.Have I completely lost it?? Maybe, but this film totally went against my expectations. Director George Miller (Babe and its hyper-twisted sequel Pig in the City, Mad Max)
took what looked to be another cutsie CGI film and delivered a cross between "Moulin Rouge" , "Footloose" and "March of the Penguins".Like "Pig in the City" this thing is smart, dangerous (considering the target audience) and mostly surprisingly fun and funny.OK that's enough of me for today.
