We have been subjected to a three year trial of daylight saving, after which we'll have a referendum to vote as to whether we want it or not. Two previous referendums voted negative. I actually quite like it, as the girls and I get to go for a walk after dinner to talk to the cows (as we do...), and it's still light at 8.30 p.m. I also get an extra hours sleep, because I still wake with the birdsong, but it's an hour later on the clock.
