Gmountain, there’s just one thing that really gets me about fire & brimstone sermons:  If you hold that all who do not “take our lord as their personal savior” are not welcome in “our Lord’s Kingdom", period, then that means even though you may befriend these folks and call them neighbor, they are not quite on your (saved) “level” of the human pecking order.  Therefore most everybody who does not speak the king’s English and everybody else who “has not accepted” is, in effect, lesser than thou and worthy of some rank of condescension (No matter how kind-at-heart you are, & surely you are a neighborly cat & a peacemaker;  I'm not implying otherwise).  Smallish group that’ll pass through the needle, big group gona hit their heads. 

…Well, I get the feeling…a hundred years from now, there is little doubt you and I will have long been deceased ...& residing in very near the same after [this] life place.

&, perhaps if it ain’t all dust,  it'll be a blessing...& hopefully...still a bit of an adventure....  & even if it is all dust & we’re occupying the same dirt as big@l, maybe that’d be okay too…if you spent this life getting a little jiggy now & then and serving something/someone a little meaningful as much as you can?

Now I know this can be re-spun to varied degrees to claim, “it isn’t I who” or “my lord loves all who…and the ignorant ones who, etc.,”  but really….

[interpretation ~ & it IS one’s personal interpretation ~ can be a pratfall, yep. & surely I recognize that goes both ways.]

We already are, bro.  The burden of proof is already lifted,

It’s been lifted everyday by hundreds of well-intended actions

That go by nearly unnoticed by billions of harried individuals

Puttering about in havoc and solitude & technology;

The facade is in the extremes.
