too bad the Electoral College set-up kinds makes the whole 'democracy - one person, one vote, winner take all' thing seem like a corner game of 3 card monty. seeing how our 'democracy' is run (by Big $), most informed citizens of other countries probably don't view it as such a wondeful & desirable thing. although, yes, it still appears rather superior to being ruled by an iron-fisted evil despot...[but enough about GWB!] :)
