Great musician (and something of a colossal screwup).  I thought is other posthumous album, "Reiter In," was one of his best.  The others that really grab me are the debut, "Rocket House," and "Soft Dangerous Shores." 

Was it Whitley who helped put Doogie Bowne on the shelf?
