Snow dismisses Hussein verdict tied to electionsNEW YORK (CNN) -- White House Press Secretary Tony Snow dismissed suggestions that Saddam Hussein's death sentence was purposely timed to coincide with the midterm elections."The idea is preposterous," Snow said on CNN's 'Late Edition with Wolf Blitzer.' "This is one of those tinfoil hat sort of things, where people suddenly decide if there is news that may call into question the things that they've been saying, that somehow we've been scheming and plotting with the Iraqis.
