I'm enjoying Lloyd's new album. The songwriting is strong, full of wit, self-deprecating humour, and the obligitory love song or two. He plays nearly all instruments himself save a couple guest musicians including Jill Sobule. The string arrangements are rich and compliment the songs they're used on. Overall, it's a way better album than his last, but not quite as good as my favorite 1991's self titled cd.
