Fascism isn't hardly a rightist philosophy, as it is actually just another leftist extension of Marxism like communism which are variant's of socialism. Why is it so few understand both are far and away onthe extreme of the anti human liberty side of the political spectrum?

Respectfully, the present day conception/result of far right electioneering Republicans are neither historical Republican(as the article is rightly noting) nor loyal Americans.

This includes Democrats too, because the party machine(s) - almost unanimously- select who has the opportunity to be placed on the ballot at the national level; and more & more, at the state level too(based on where the national committees decide to spend advertising dollars, by letting it be known in advance of primaries, who is going to get that monetary support).
