The timing reminds me a lot of the "Swift Boat" veterans' sudden attacks on Kerry's war record just prior to the last election. Neither side is innocent with regard to these types of tactics. They're all partisan hack bastards.
Yeah but that was not really a news story, more like an organized campaign. The ads that ran were paid for by the Swiftboat fund.
I'm really getting a kick out of how long they can stretch the Foley story. Who knew and when did they know? The drama continues..... If Hassert knew I can tell you probably half the Democratic party knew also. From what I'm hearing the Democrats have won already the House but not the senate. Why overplay your hand?
