I read your the Corn thread with much interest, and intend to read the recommended book.

A question: Was there any mention of the notion that there is an inverse relationship between hybridization and nutrional value? Meaning, hybridization increases harvest(volume) but despite the greater volume the net nutrional value declines.

I urge you to become involved in your area. This is particularly important among those who are outside the agricultural community. Urbanites need to understand this will affect them adversely; both in cost, availability and quality.
