This is a problem in what way?  The government (and a number of non-govt concerns) already has the ability to spy on any of us visually, telephonically, and microphonically, without being the least bit invasive.  At least I can control whether or not Google picks up my TV usage, dietary regimen, sexual habits, etc. by placing the microphone and webcam in the "off" position.
