Steve Irwin dead
Just heard the news that Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin died today. Can't get my head around it... He was apparently diving off Port Douglas and was stung by a stringray - barb through the heart causing heart failure.
While I wasn't his biggest supporter - he'd done some pretty odd things in his life - he was passionate about the environment and had more energy and enthusiasm than most of us. He also has two young children. RIP.
