type=allsolar&imageID=13This is something I can get behind. Makes me want one for my
very own. Each dish can power five homes, with zero emission,
twice the carrier life and general efficiency of photovoltaics, super-
efficient stirling closed-cycle engine... If they can deliver on their
promise of each unit pricing out at 25,000 we're going to be seeing
an awful lot of these, from West Texas to Sweden to Namibia. So
Cal Edison is planning a 4,500 acre solar farm here in California. 7
square miles, but to put that in context, the Mojave is a solid
25,000 square miles of blistering sun. I really like this invention.
