Part of me’d like to ask why the occasion to be riding in the 49ers team plane [& at 16], …the better part of me figures it’s none of my bidness….
‘84 too, bummer…the year before they drafted Jerry Rice…2 years before he started lighting ‘em up. My son is a monster Jerry Rice admirer, has about a 150 card collection that he still organizes from time to time. Funny how some folks span the generations. He was playing running back/wide receiver in peewee when he first started to collect the cards…then got put in @ QB when the 1st string QB took a shot to the back…& never looked back. …Playing QB ever since, on the field across the street right now. Would have been a kick to tell him SRB from the dbis board shot the shidt with Jerry Rice in his first year as a 49er.
