I remember years ago when Kyle first revealed in this forum what had happened, tying it in with David's song "The Crash". That post has probably had more of a lasting effect on me as any other I've read before or since. There were so many times in my life that it oh so easily could have been me. That stark realization has made me more grateful than ever, and I keep reminding myself of how thankful I should be that I have what I do.

Kyle, you have the power to reach a lot of people with your writing, as evidenced by the outpouring of emotion in this thread. Thank you so much for having the courage to not just carry on but to continue to contribute.
