I'm not sure what I laughed at more...the Conchords or Pat Robertson getting a verbal spanking from a talk show caller then the second he was off the air saying something like "That guy was a homo for sure." to one of his handlers.

The Conchords were trying to be funny...Robertson is just a joke and he doesn't even know it.

Who does Peggy think she's gonna make weep with that trash? Maybe she can write a nice piece on how Joe McCarthy was really just a misunderstood patriot that would have saved America if they just let him do his job.

The thing is does Democracy have a shelf life? The United States is a young country, think about how much has changed just in our lifetimes. There are so many factors that come into play but look at our election process. It's now all about the media and the spin...people only get the packaging but never get to actually see what's in the box.
