It must mean a loaf of bread...the amazing amount of carbs in just one of those things would easily equal an entire loaf of bread.
There used to be a moniker on old Guiness bottles which read.."a baby in every bottle", since it apparently made some guys horny or virile. Or maybe that's just a rumor, but it's something I read some time ago.
