A coworker approached me the other day saying "you have to read this book!!", even though he knew I was of a different political bent than he.  When I asked what value the book held for intelligent political discourse, he said "It doesn't have any, it's just funny because it makes all those stupid liberals look, well, stupid."

Hate has become a hobby in this country, on both the left and right.  Franken isn't significantly better than his neocon counterparts, but he does manage to research his facts from time to time.  We're in for one heck of a social/political revolution until someone can figure out how to get the masses to demand accountability from the pundits and flaks on both sides of the spectrum.
