David Knopfler
Well David left around the time of "Making Movies". He actually started the band DSwith John Illsley the bass player. David was the younger of the two and he sounds remarkably like Mark singing. I had heard things go so bad that they actually erased his rhythem guitar tracks from MM. I think he got stifled with big brother getting all the spotlight and it went downhill from there. When I correspond I never ask because if you read some of the stuff on his site http://www.knopfler.com you know they do not get along. He was even cut out of royalties on the Money for Nothing compilation CD
