That is interesting! Funnily enough, "Froggie Went A-Courtin'" was also sung here at schools. Except, the words were in Afrikaans. Until I got the new album I did not know what the actual English words were... On the topic, we also sang "This Land Is Your Land" at school, but the words had been changed to include Table Mountain, the Karoo, the Transvaal... I kid you not.

I have the import DualDisc of the album. The DVD material is worth having. Watching the recordings is great fun.
