so many possibilities
I did not come up with this theory but it is the most logical once you look at the clues. I had a guess of something to that effect from the band aid and light. (My mom helped me with that) While doing a paper in college I did research on the contents and agree with this theory. (I never used the info as I ended up doing the project on Reservoir Dogs instead. Can You name the mistake in that movie?)There are multiple things in addition to the band aid on MW's cranium. If you look at the contents of the case, everytime it is opened a bright light is emitted. Many say the soul is the brightest or most beautiful part of a person. When VV and JW go to the apartment and get shot at the reason for them not being hit could be explained by divine intervention. God stopping the bullets because no matter how bad of a person they are they were taking a stolen soul back from the devil. I have trouble seeing it but apparently when brett is shot, the same kind of light is emmitted from his body, possibly showing his soul being released as he dies.The reason for the change of mind I am not sure but it is stated at some point in the movie that MW sent JW to get the briefcase, so I only asume that there was a change of mind. I don't remember the other reason but some other theories that I found were that there was money in the case, heroin, the diamonds from Reservoir Dogs...Anyway I think I will sit down this weekend and watch it again as i have not seen it three or so years. There are some cool websites on this, I will look for them and post them here if you want them.
