The only issue was one that is far too prevalent - audience members that won't shut the F up during songs. Am I the only one that gets pissed enough about it to say something to the culprits?

  This is an issue I have never understood. Why do people pay good money to attend a show, and then talk during the entire performance, and spoil it for everybody else.  Really irritates me. I do ask them to shut up, unless I get the inkling that they will beat me up (judgment call).  One of the reasons I seldom go to see rock bands anymore. It has to be a jazz thing or coffee house with an attentive audience for me to go.  And...smoke free.
