Just to clarify:

I made an assumption, a "funny" really:  ...Thought you two were perhaps...spouses out of wedlock; out of wedlock because, although you should be well within your rights to marry for sake of tax & joint tenancy purposes, etc., “mainstream” approval’s gone out the window on that issue.  If I was incorrect, then I withdraw the observation certainly; I just don’t like regarding the gent by name when he’s not herein to defend his notions.  Adjective, adjective, ...who’s got the adjectives.  

I’ve been in lyrical scraps with only two folks on this board; from the corner jabbing outward...in riposte to some one-two punch or another for the sake of "humor" & modus operandi....   Of the two, it’s completely understandable that Mick is in a nasty mood most of the time:  I’ve seen his pix, he has to glimpse that mug in the mirror every morning.  But what endears his board persona, in my humble opinion only, & makes his posting history so worth putting up with the spleen, other than his music tastes and great sense of humor, ...is the fact that...every so often...he posts those no-schidt, well-aimed, noteworthy & oft times invaluable philosophical concepts...that further something...vital...& tip th’ scale just a bit in favor of hope; yes, a gnarly & cynical-eats-quixotic-as-a-finger-food sort of hope, but hope nonetheless.  I know it’s rude to be talking about you in the third person, Mick, when your here on the board, ...but...well...what the fck, man!

Disagree certainly (...wouldn’t expect anything less) ...but without the attempt to fathom the myriad of notions...we, quite possibly, are up shidt creek.  I think schidt creek stinks, ...so if you were here...I’d offer you plenty of drinks & sundries around a good fire and yuck-it-up until the heady early hours of the deep dark night.  I bet we’d get along famously.  Yeah, ...maybe not.
