I think in the case of this war, this misguided tragedy, that the best way to support our troops is to give the world a giant apology, throw everyone responsible for the war in prison, and get these boys home before we have another irretrievably lost generation of walking wounded, destroyed families, and unsustainable debt. I'm old enough to remember the guys a few years older than me coming home from Vietnam. The way to not support our troops is to send them to get chopped up and emotionally ruined and then dump them on the streets of downtown LA to wallow in PTSD.
