Joy, tonight, is Roger Waters, 15th row floor, dead center; paid an arm and a leg...but still have one arm and one leg...so I suppose I should not complain in the 21st Century. Those noxious advanced ticket sales to ONLY American Express Gold Cardholders should be considered an act of piracy against the people...chuckle/sigh. But they’re the best seats I’ve ever had for Roger Waters, and it IZ Roger Waters...so good enough. Sorry Dave, this board is in your honor, & rightly so, ...but what is great about RW is no far cry from what is great about your music...except perhaps that you Maestro the fringes of working-class rock & roll Hollywood & he Maestros the fringes of the rock & roll monarchy; ...or something to that extent. Funny though: I spoke, via email, to a friend who is in contact with Roger Waters’ mngmt and according to him Roger was told his tix for this tour would go for around fifty bucks apiece...& he expressed being okay with that. ...What he wasn’t told is that they will go for from 59 to 127 bucks...with advanced ticket sales to only select scalpers, “brokers”, bankers, doctors, lawyers, gangsta rappers, film & broadcasting glitterati & sports figures...AND an online Ticketmaster silent auction guaranteeing a price gouge from Hell to the hoi-polloi at large.
The [fleecing] venues...& Ticketmaster, I’m guessing, are the poison pills?
