I like it fine, some songs more so than others. It's not bad at all. Though on one song it is as if Springsteen is kind of using the singing style of Tom Waits (but for all I know, that sort of song may call for that style of singing).
And as big of a fan as I am of Springsteen, I do have to say that Mellencamp sort of did a similar style with The Lonesome Jubilee and Big Daddy.
I'm more jazzed about the new Neil Young cd.... Haven't watched the dvd portion though...
