Wow, that is truly how my sojourn as a health care provider began!  I was working with CNIB (Canadian National Institute for the Blind) one summer while in college...and it really "opened my eyes", (sorry, I couldn't resist).  It was an amazing experience...Good luck in finding people in that all important area.
