This thing has been circulating for a while. I don't recall it posted here, but....This is from a Virgin Records add. In the picture there are 75, yep 75 bands depicted. They are not too hard to figure out, I got about 30 or so..first go-round. Most of 'em are mainstream, and mix of old and new groups. Some are single artist names. The key to identifying the band is what the picture is...IS the name of the band. So, if you see, for example a POTATOE on the ground, it identifies the band POTATOE. No abstractions necessary.
This is the full photo. Other cropped versions are out there, which miss a few bands.
