It is a lousy shot, but if you look closely at where the neck and body of the guitar join,you can tell that the guitar is resting on his knee giving him the freedom to do as he pleases with his hands.

Eddie's virtuosity and creativity were always tops with me. I never got into speed metal players like Yngwie. It's a shame he's not making (or releasing) any music. That last,brutal incarnation of Van Halen left me shaking my head saying "what the hell happened Eddie??!! say it ain't so!!)

Maybe after The "New Cars" thing fizzles out, Todd Rundgren can front Van Halen too!!!
